The Affordable Care Act is a law that requires insurance companies to cover preventative care for women, which includes lactation support. Your insurance should cover the cost of my services, but each insurance company differs in their requirements and process of coverage. I encourage you to contact your insurance provider to ask if lactation services are covered. Most insurance companies reimburse. I require payment for my services up front, in either cash, check, Paypal®, Zelle® or credit card. I will provide you with a detailed super bill for you to submit to insurance for possible reimbursement.
