Mariel Rodner IBCLC, CBS

Compassionate. Supportive. Caring.

As an IBCLC, I'm committed to helping new moms overcome their breastfeeding challenges, because I know from personal experience how important it is to have the right support. My own struggles with breastfeeding led me to pursue a career in lactation support. At the time I was fortunate enough to be working in the health care field, next to a world renowned surgeon, pioneer in the treatment of tethered oral tissues (TOTS). I decided to pursue my CBS (certified breastfeeding specialist) certificate and after several years helping moms in the clinical aspect of caring for oral ties revisions, I earned my IBCLC certification. To this day I provide lactation support to moms and babies right after having oral ties released.

With a degree in Dentistry and a specialty in Endodontics, I have a deep understanding of the mouth's anatomy and function, which gives me a unique perspective on the challenges that can arise during breastfeeding.  I find it a privilege to wake up every day knowing that I can make a difference in the lives of babies and parents alike, and nothing brings me greater joy than seeing their smiles.

When I'm not helping new moms, I enjoy being in nature, traveling with my husband, and hosting dinner parties for my friends. And while I've achieved many dreams in my career and personal life, my ultimate goal is still to run a marathon!
