Policies & procedures

Payment policy

A valid credit card number is required for booking an appointment. You can choose to use another method of payment; cash, check, Paypal and Zelle® are welcome. After our appointment you will be provided with an electronic copy of your superbill to submit to your insurance for reimbursement.

Cancelation policy

A valid credit card number is required when booking an appointment. Your card will not be charged unless you cancel your appointment without a minimum 24 hours notice, at which point a $50.00 cancellation fee will be automatically applied.

Safety

Protecting your family is important to me. I take special care to disinfect all equipment before and after your visit. I wear a surgical mask during the duration of the visit, with the exception of momentary removal if needed to drink water. For everyone's safety, you are required to wear a mask as well.  If I, or anyone in my family, has any symptoms of illness, I will be in touch with you to either cancel or reschedule our appointment. I ask that families contact me prior to their appointment if anyone in the family shows any signs of illness.

Privacy

Texting and email communication as per Hipaa regulations is done thru a secure, private platform. Once you book your appointment all communication will take place through secured communication. Information will not be shared with third parties without your prior authorization.

Travel policy

My regular service area is within 20 miles of my home city, White Plains, N.Y. There is a roundtrip $2.00 per mile travel fee for ALL home visits with a travel distance >20 miles from White Plains, N.Y. I also provide telehealth visits from anywhere within the U.S.
